Cookie Policy

Our Platform and Website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our Platform or Website and also allows us to improve our Platform and Website.

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive.

We use the following cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies that are required for the operation of our Platform and Website. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our Platform and Website.
  • Analytical or performance cookies. These allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our Platform and Website when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our Platform and Website work, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.
  • Functionality cookies. These are used to recognise you when you return to our Platform or Website. This enables us to personalise our content for you, greet you by name and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).
  • Targeting cookies. These cookies record your visit to our Platform or Website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed. We will use this information to make our Platform and Website and any advertising displayed on them more relevant to your interests. We may also share this information with third parties for this purpose.

You can find more information about the individual cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them in the table below:

Platform Authentication Cookie

This cookie is a JSON Web Token (JWT) for user authentication.  It expires after 30 days.

Google Fonts – Website

Like much of the internet, we use Google Fonts on our website. Google Font files are cached locally on your browser and used across different websites. Google uses your IP address for this. From Google:

The font files themselves are cached for one year, which cumulatively has the effect of making the entire web faster: When millions of websites all link to the same fonts, they are cached after visiting the first website and appear instantly on all other subsequently visited sites. We do sometimes update font files to reduce their file size, increase coverage of languages, and improve the quality of their design. The result is that website visitors send very few requests to Google: We only see 1 CSS request per font family, per day, per browser.
